Cities portray and define us. Their inhabitants saturate them with their personalities. Its streets, neighborhoods, and each corner mirror who we are and what we do.
When we go out on the street and take out a camera, we face a grand city along with those that pass by, and capture a fleeting moment outside with reflections, lights and movement. Photographing all of this can define a society full of strangers walking from one place to another. These average, everyday people are the true protagonists in both a small or large metropolis.

The prize for the winning image consists of an MAXTOR 320GB hard disk laptop. Please remember that the winning image will be obtained through the largest number of votes.

Who am I? is always a present question, whose answer is looked for in images, fragments, memories, stories and relationships with oneself and with others. The society in which we live in requires us to act in the way that best fits her. It focuses on the cannon of beauty, a way of behaving, a lifestyle…We feel as if we are in a process of continued transformation, in which we create various identities to adapt ourselves to the situations that life presents us. Which one comes closer to who we really are? Identity Factory is a reflection of different personalities that we represent day-to-day and the chameleon like attitude that we adopt in our lives.
The 15 images with the most votes will be display in Espacio A_Rojo, Cordoba, Spain, from June 3, 2009 to July 31, 2009.
